They have two children, Jennifer, Jeremy and wife Taryn, and granddaughter Amelia. Mack is an owner in an Edmonds Real Estate Development and Construction Company.

Both love to pray for and encourage others in their growth, understanding and application of God’s Word in all areas of life.

Mack and Gwen reside in Edmonds and when time permits enjoy traveling, flying, old cars, boating and building projects. Mack hates yard work, Gwen loves it!

Ron Hoefer - Snohomish
(Judy)

Ron Hoefer has had the honor of serving as an elder at Canyon Hills Community Church since its inception.  By vocation, he is a real estate appraiser with a primary practice focus in litigation support.  He and Judy, who is an elementary school teacher, have three daughters, two sons-in-law, five grandchildren and reside in Snohomish, Washington. Since coming to CHCC in December of 1995, Ron has had the joy of teaching as well as leading other in the teaching of God's Word in various venues, helping to create the doctrinal  position papers for Canyon Hills and serving in various other capacities, as needed.  He was called to be Chairman of the Eldership for the first four years of our existence.

Together, Ron and Judy started the single mom's ministry and the car care even for single moms and widows.  They have had the joy of leading classes on marriage and family life, as well.  Personally, having fun with his family, driving his hotrod and climbing mountains (if he can keep from hurting himself) are his greatest joys.

Larry Kautzman - Everett
(Stacey)

Larry and his wife Stacey have been serving here at Canyon Hills for the last 10 years. They have two children, Kameron and Emily who are also very active and committed to serving the body at Canyon Hills. The whole family considers it an honor, a privilege and counts it "all joy" to be used as vessels to serve with this body of believers. Larry sees himself as an "imperfect" person who has been called to equip, encourage and serve the "imperfect" people of CHCC. His deepest desire is to be a living example by reflecting Christ's love, humility and compassion for a fallen and lost world. He believes that the world is searching for the TRUTH that only the Word of God can provide.

Upholding and protecting the teaching of Gods Word are a responsibility he takes very serious. His dream is to see EVERY member that calls CHCC their home, involved in biblical community through LifeGroups and views that as a place where God’s people can grow closer to their Savior and see Jesus glorified through prayer, teaching, worship and loving one another through service. Larry enjoys salmon & bass fishing, camping, traveling and playing a round of golf with anyone who will put up with his inconsistent golf game. Spending time with his lovely wife Stacey and watching God mold their two children brings him the greatest joy of all. James 1:22

Jim Lee - Bothell
(Kathy)

Jim Lee and his wife Kathy have been members of CHCC since the beginning coming over from Overlake Christian Church. I have served as an Elder since 2001 and been Secretary of the Elders for all but one of those years.

At this time Kathy and I teach the Foundations class during the second service hour on Sunday mornings on the basics of our Christian faith for new believers and those from other denominations. We also host a Life Group in our home on Thursday evenings and help lead it. Our desire is to see people grown in there faith and walk with the Lord. One of our other desires is to help couples communicate better and have better marriages that are strengthened with biblical principles and bathed in prayer.

My wife and I have two grown children Aaron and Bryan. One works and lives in the area and the other is a pilot in the Navy living in California.

Randy Trettevik - Mill Creek
(Diane)

Randy Trettevik has been a member of Canyon Hills for ten years. He and his wife Diane live in Mill Creek and have four daughters, Kristen, Meghan, Lauren and Breanne. Randy is a native of Seattle and graduate from the University of Washington with a business degree.

Randy has a passion for studying, teaching and memorizing the Bible and is engaged in the intentional discipleship of other young men. He loves the life long friendships that he has made since joining Canyon Hills.

Randy loves to play basketball, golf and recently has taken up running. He loves being a dad to his daughters and is blessed with a wonderful wife.

George Wilson - Kenmore
(Judy)

George Wilson has served as an elder at Canyon Hills Community Church since 2001. He and his wife Judy live in Kenmore. They have 4 children and 7 grandchildren. George & Judy have been active in the counseling ministry at CHCC and love to see people's hearts and lives changed by God's truth and love. They are avid sail boaters and are looking forward to having more for time for all of the above after retirement.

They have both retired several times and it was a wonderful experience each and every time!
